Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 11 University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team rain for a season-high 471 yards en route to destroying No. 18 St. Cloud State 34-7 in their homecoming on Saturday at Malosky Stadium.

The Huskies took an early 7-0 lead in the second quarter after a three-yard run by Phillip Klaphake, but that's all the scoring they could muster. With the first half winding down, the Bulldogs faked a field goal and sophomore backup quarterback Eric Kline ran in for the TD.

Junior running back Austin Sikorski rushed 17 times for 177 yards and two touchdowns while sophomore Logan Lauters finished with 107 yards and two scores on 12 carries.

UMD freshman quarterback Drew Bauer attempted just 14 passes on a blustery day, completing four of them.

Senior reserve defensive end Jordan Bauman racked up a team-high and career-best nine tackles while linebacker Colby Ring had seven stops.

The Bulldogs (4-1) travel to Minnesota State University-Moorhead next Saturday afternoon with kickoff set for 2:00 p.m.
