Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 17 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team held a two-goal lead in the final period and hung on in the final seconds to oust Colorado College 2-1 on Saturday night at AMSOIL Arena.
Kyle Osterberg scored his 10th goal of the season to put the Bulldogs ahead at the end of the first period on the power-play. Cal Decowski then notched his third of the year to make it 2-0 UMD.
The Tigers got on the board late in the third period but netminder Aaron Crandall racked up 31 saves as the Bulldogs hung on to win it.
UMD (13-9-4) will hit the road next weekend to take on NCHC foe St. Cloud State.
