North Dakota Edges Wisconsin in NCAA Tourney

Cincinnati, Ohio (NNCNOW.com) --- Rocco Grimaldi scored a hat-trick to lead fourth-seeded North Dakota over No. 1 seed Wisconsin 5-2 on Friday night in the opening round of the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament.

North Dakota got on the board first before the Badgers tied it up on the power-play later in the period. The game was knotted at 2-2 until Mark MacMillan scored the eventual game-winner with less than two minutes to play.

North Dakota advances to the regional final and will take on Ferris State on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
