Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Two St. Scholastica indoor track and field members have been named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) athletes of the week, it was announced on Tuesday.
Kevin Wagner is the UMAC men's track and field athlete of the week after breaking his own school record in the heptathlon, finishing with 4,675 points at the UW-River Falls Invitational.
Wagner won the event and currently ranks 10th in NCAA Division III during the 2012-2013 indoor track and field season.
Tracy Perish, meanwhile, is the UMAC women's track and field athlete of the week after setting a new school record of 3,144 points in the pentathlon.
Perish's finish also came at the UW-River Falls Invitational and puts her 17th in NCAA Division III this season.
