Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #1-ranked UMD men's hockey team will return to AMSOIL Arena this weekend after more than two months away, and on Saturday night they will be wearing special uniforms.

The Bulldogs will wear jerseys with pink accents on each sleeve and shoulder to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

The game-worn uniforms will be autographed and then auctioned off on the Internet, with all proceeds benefiting the Essentia Health Breast Center.

The UMD women's hockey team held a similar event earlier this season and raised $7,950 through the online auction.

The Bulldogs will be wearing the one-of-a-kind uniforms during Saturday night's game of their weekend series against Alabama-Huntsville at AMSOIL Arena.

Both games this weekend can be seen on live television in the Northland on the My 9 Sports Network, with drop of the puck set for 7:07 p.m. each night.
