Royce, McBride Earn WIAC Player of the Week Honors

Supeiror, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior's Ben Royce and Brian McBride have been named players of the week in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), it was announced on Tuesday.

Royce was named the WIAC offensive player of the week after scoring four goals in the Yellowjackets' 11-0 win over Finlandia, moving his season point total to 29.

McBride played a strong role defensively in that win, earning him WIAC defensive player of the week honors. He also added his first goal of this season the victory, which marked the last game of 2012 for UW-Superior.

The Yellowjackets finished the year tied for second in the WIAC and with an overall record of (12-6-2).
