Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica Saints football team continued the program's best-ever start on Saturday afternoon, defeating MacMurray College 49-6 at Public Schools Stadium.
The win moves the Saints to (4-0) in 2011, the best-ever start in the program's short, four-year history.
Alex Thiry broke his own school record with five touchdown passes in the game, and the Saints also set a new school record for most points scored.
Superior native Keegan O'Neill caught two touchdown passes, and fellow former Spartan Mike LaValley returned a second quarter interception for a score.

The Saints will travel to Northwestern next Saturday, October 8 to take on the Eagles in their homecoming game.
