Saints Double Up Yellowjackets in Bridge Battle

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica softball team beat UW-Superior 14-7 on Thursday afternoon, earning area bragging rights in the all-Twin Ports rivalry.

Merryssa Tiedeman and Darcy Roach led the Saints offensively, each driving in four runs as part of the winning effort.

The Yellowjackets were led by Superior native Taylor VanDamme and Kayla Blom, both of whom drove in two runs for UW-Superior.

St. Scholastica improves to (17-8) with the win, while the Yellowjackets fall to (8-15) after the loss.
