Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica football dominated preseason Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) favorite Greenville in every possible way on Saturday afternoon, winning 45-3 on the Saints' homecoming weekend.
Tyler Harper and Jake Jensen each had two touchdowns for St. Scholastica, which also got a 73-yard interception return for a touchdown from Mike LaValley in the winning effort.
The Saints defense came up with three total takeways on the afternoon, a convincing win for the defending conference champion.
St. Scholastica is now (2-1) this season and (2-0) in UMAC play, with the team's next game scheduled for September 22 on the road to Martin Luther.
