Saints' Frase Named First Team All-UMAC

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica junior forward Erin Frase has been named to the all-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) women's basketball first team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Frase led the conference this 2012-13 season with a 56.0 percent shooting percentage, helping her finish second on the St. Scholastica team with 25.9 points per game.

Saints junior guard Kayla Heisler and sophomore guard Mariah Hovick were also honored by the UMAC, given honorable mention for their play this 2012-13 season, with Hovick also being named to the all-defensive team.

Elena Huber was the Saints' representative on the UMAC all-sportsmanship team, a team made up of one player from each school in the conference.
