Saints Men, Women Open Season with Loss

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica men's and women's basketball teams each opened their season with a loss on Tuesday night, falling to UW-Eau Claire at Reif Gymnasium in Duluth.

The men lost 63-41 to the Blugolds in the season opener, led by Brett Tester's 19 points in the losing effort.

The women, meanwhile, were led by Superior native Laura Amys and Mariah Hovick's 10 points each in their 68-58 loss to the Blugolds.
