Saints' Men's Tennis Wins UMAC Crown, Women Fall

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica men's tennis team won its third straight Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament title while the CSS women fell short of the crown for the first time in UMAC history on Saturday.

The CSS men shutout the University of Northwestern 9-0 at the Baseline Tennis Center. The Saints end the season with a program record 18 consecutive victories.

On the women's side, CSS was ousted by Northwestern 6-3 on Saturday at the Baseline Tennis Center. For the first time in conference history, someone other than the Saints won the UMAC tennis title.

St. Scholastica finishes the season with a record of (17-7).
