Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica's Rachel Miller and Chelesea Johnson each set a new program record for the women's outdoor track and field team this past weekend, with each competing at a different meet.
Miller posted a mark of 38 feet, 7 inches in the triple jump at the St. Mary's Open, good enough to break her own program record and place her fifth in all NCAA Division III this year.
Johnson, meanwhile, also broke her own program record with a time of 11:30.60 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Kip Janvrin Open. That time breaks her previous record in that event by 14 seconds for the Saints.
The Saints will next be in action at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championships, with that meet scheduled for May 4 in Morris, Minn.
