Saints' Schommer is CCSA Skier of the Week

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica sophomore Paul Schommer has been named the Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) male skier of the week, it was announced on Wednesday night.

Schommer had his best run of the season this past Sunday, placing seventh overall in the 15-kilometer mass freestyle at the NCAA Central Region Championships.

He coupled that with a 10th place finish in the 10-kilometer classic on Saturday, helping him become the first skier in St. Scholastica history to earn all-region accolades in both disciplines.
