Saints Split, Lumberjills Swept in Triangular

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica volleyball team split a pair of Wednesday matches against Northland and UW-Eau Claire, while the Lumberjills were swept in both their matches at Reif Gymnasium in Duluth, Minn.

Anna Zyvoloski pounded 17 kills for the Saints in a 3-0 win over Northland, and then it was Kortney Morrin leading the way with 12 kills in a 3-1 loss to UW-Eau Claire.

Gabby Jukkala led the Lumberjills with 11 kills in the loss to St. Scholastica, with Megan Zynda adding 24 assists in the losing effort.

St. Scholastica is now (9-9) overall this season and (4-1) in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), while Northland drops to (6-14) overall and (2-3) in the UMAC with the two losses.
