Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica football team is still in search of the program's second-ever coach after narrowing down the search to four candidates to replace Greg Carlson who retired earlier this winter after six seasons with the Saints.

While Carlson has no say in the process, he hopes the next coach can maintain the culture of the program that he helped to build.

"More than anything, just maintaining the character of the kids that are in the program. One of the things I hope that we've shown is that you can win with good kids. Kids that are serious students, do the right thing, behave, and make good decisions. I think we've done that for the most part."
