Saints Win Twice, Tie NCAA Scoring Record

Freeport, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica baseball team won both games of a doubleheader against North Central on Friday, tying an NCAA Division III scoring record in the process.

The Saints won game two by a 41-2 final score, scoring 24 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie for the most runs ever to be scored in one inning of an NCAA Division III baseball game.

St. Scholastica is now (22-9) overall this 2013 season and will next be in action at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday for a doubleheader against Bethany Lutheran.
