Saints Women, Men Notch Home Wins vs. Knights

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica women's basketball team used a strong second half to earn a 69-59 win over Martin Luther on Friday night at Reif Gymnasium.

The Saints were led by the 14 points of Mariah Hovick and 12 points of Haley Hoyer. Erin Frase also scored 11 points in the winning effort for St. Scholastica.

FIRST HALF SPARKS SAINTS TO WIN OVER MARTIN LUTHER

A first half rally led the St. Scholastica men's basketball team to a big 77-55 win over Martin Luther on Friday night at Reif Gymnasium.

The Saints were led in scoring by the 23 points on Chris Hamers, with 18 of those coming in the first half.

Jonah Dahlman added 15 points and Brett Tester scored 10 points in the winning effort.
