Second Half Comeback Ends UMD's Year

Fayette, IA (NNCNOW.com) --- The Upper Iowa men's basketball team scored 59 points in the second half on Wednesday night, a comeback effort that led to an 86-81 win over the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) in the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) playoffs.

Reece Zoelle scored 26 points in the losing effort for UMD, but the Peacocks used a 23-8 advantage in bench points to help facilitate the second half comeback.

The Bulldogs end the season with an overall record of (12-15).
