Stormont's Goal Lifts Bulldogs to Road Draw

Sioux Falls, SD (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's soccer team stretched its unbeaten streak to three games on Saturday, earning a 1-1 draw with Augustana in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Maureen Stormont scored the only goal of the game for the Bulldogs, striking in the 75th minute with an assist coming from Duluth native Kelli Klun.

Reigning Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) defensive player of the week Marissa Rosa made two saves in goal for UMD, which improves to (3-4-1) overall and (2-3-1) in conference play.
