Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Three players on the UW-Superior men's basketball team have received all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honorable mention, it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Senior forward Brendan Bauer, junior center Bronson Byrne, and junior guard Jarrod Peterson received the honor after helping the Yellowjackets to a (9-17) overall record this year.
The UW-Superior trio led the team this season in points, with both Peterson and Byrne averaging double digit scoring each game.
Also honored in the postseason awards was Yellowjackets senior forward Cole Schreiner, who was the team's representative on the WIAC all-sportsmanship squad.
