Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) senior goaltender Aaron Crandall has been named the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) goaltender of the week, it was announced on Monday.

Crandall made 17 saves in a 5-2 win on Friday night for the Bulldogs and then turned aside 32 shots in a 3-1 victory on Saturday night to complete the series sweep.

The senior also anchored a UMD penalty kill unit that allowed just one goal on 13 chances for the weekend and finished the series with a .942 saves percentage.
