Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) senior offensive lineman Andrew Muer has been named to the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) preseason Division II All-American first team, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Muer is one of 34 players to earn first team accolades, which comes one day after he earned the same honor from USA College Football.

The Bulldogs' co-captain was also a BSN preseason Division II All-American pick as a junior, earning third team honors that time around.

UMD finished the 2013 season with an overall record of (11-2) and will begin the 2014 season on Sept. 6 at home against Concordia-St. Paul.
