UMD's Schnyder, Mullen Earn All-NSIC Honors

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) sophomore Sami Schynder was named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Softball First Team on Wednesday while Megan Mullen landed on the Second Team.

Schynder was also named to the Gold Glove Team after making just four errors in 118 chances. She led the Bulldogs at the plate too with a .383 average and 18 RBIs.

Mullen, a Hermantown, Minn. native, earned an All-NSIC second team selection for the third straight season and has received all-conference honors in each of her four seasons. She ranks on the second on the team with a .344 average and 26 RBIs.

UMD will take on Augustana on Thursday in Sioux Falls, S.D. at 12:00 p.m. in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament.
