UWS' Kelley is POY, Leads Six All-WIAC Picks

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior senior defender Matt Kelley has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) co-defensive player of the year, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Kelley helped lead a defensive unit this season that ranked second in the WIAC by allowing just 0.86 goals per game and posted seven shutouts. He is the first player in Yellowjackets program history to be named a WIAC player of the year.

UW-Superior also had six players selected to the all-WIAC squad following this 2013 season, with Kelley being one of four that were given first team accolades.
