UWS' McGee 8th at NCAAs, Named All-American

Naperville, IL (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior freshman Kenny McGee placed eighth in the triple jump on Saturday at the NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships in Naperville, Ill., earning All-American status in the process.

McGee had a mark of 48 feet, 0.75 inches in the event, finishing more than three feet off the winning jump of UW-La Crosse senior Isaac Vasquez.

The Yellowjackets freshman was making his first appearance at the NCAA championships, and he also placed ninth in the long jump on Friday afternoon.
