Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior senior guard Connie Urmanski and sophomore guard Sally Linzmeier have been named to the all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) women's basketball first team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Urmanski was also honored as a co-recipient of the Judy Kruckman WIAC scholar-athlete award and named to the conference's all-sportsmanship team.

The senior captain finished as the Yellowjackets' second-leading scorer in 2012-13, helping propel her to fifth all-time on the school's scoring list with 1,183 career points.

Linzmeier, meanwhile, set two new single-season program records this year with 477 points and 90 steals and was also named to the WIAC all-defensive team.

Sophomore guard Kristen Nett was the third and final Yellowjackets player to be honored, given all-WIAC honorable mention for her efforts this past season.
