Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UWS women's basketball team earned its first conference win of the season Wednesday, beating UW-Stout 80-58 at Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium in Superior.
Connie Urmanski and Hailey Hart led the way for the Yellowjackets offense, each scoring 15 points in the game.
Freshman Sally Linzmeier had seven steals on defense for UWS, three shy of tying the program's all-time record.
Minong native Rachel Hanley helped lead the Blue Devils offense with 11 points in the losing effort.
