Stevens Point, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UW-Superior men's hockey team fell 3-0 on Saturday night to UW-Stevens Point, then fell 2-1 in overtime of a mini game between the two teams.

The Yellowjackets won 2-1 on Friday night, so the mini game acted as a tiebreaker in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) playoff series.

Each team scored in the 20-minute extra session, and the Pointers were the first to score in an ensuing sudden death overtime session, ending the Yellowjackets season in the NCHA quarterfinals.
