  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) defenseman will play professionally for Timra IK, which is part of the second-tier league in Sweden, he announced Friday via Twitter.

• IFalls Native Hjelle to Play Pro in Norway

  International Falls, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- International Falls, Minn. native Brady Hjelle will play professional hockey for Roseborg IHK of the GET-League, which is the top league in Norway, he announced on Friday via Twitter.

• Saints Win, Stay Alive in NCAA Regional

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Parker Olson hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning on Friday afternoon, giving the #6-seeded St. Scholastica baseball team a 3-2 win over #3-seeded UW-Whitewater in the NCAA Division III Midwest regional tournament.

• Yellowjackets' Martin Named NFCA All-American

  Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Superior, Wis. native and UW-Superior senior Ashley Martin has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) All-American second team, it was announced on Thursday.

• Saints Fall in NCAAs, Remain in Contention
