• CSS Women's Tennis Wins 17th Straight UMAC Title

  Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- For the 17th straight year, the St. Scholastica women's tennis team are Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament champions after beating Northwestern College 7-2 on Saturday.

• Heikkinen, Bscherer Start Camp with Vikings

  Winter Park, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) offensive linemen Garth Heikkinen and Jake Bscherer started their professional football careers on Friday, taking part in day one of the Minnesota Vikings rookie camp.

• Saints Win Twice, Tie NCAA Scoring Record

  Freeport, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica baseball team won both games of a doubleheader against North Central on Friday, tying an NCAA Division III scoring record in the process.

• UMD Wins in Extras, Advances in NSIC Tourney

  Rochester, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Tyra Kerr scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 12th inning on Friday night, giving the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) softball team a 2-1 win over Concordia-St. Paul in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) tournament.

• Saints Lose Twice, Out of UMAC Tournament

  Morris, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica softball team was beaten twice on Friday afternoon and have been eliminated from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) postseason tournament.

• Saints' Bungarden Hunting for a Title

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hibbing native Hillary Bungarden helped to lead the the Saints tennis team to its 17th straight conference title this spring. But that's only the beginning for Bungarden and her competitive nature.

• Saints Practice in Pads for First Time in 2013

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- NCAA Division III football teams are usually not allowed padded spring practice, but because St. Scholastica has scheduled an international exhibition game, the Saints are an exception to that rule.

• Saints Win Home Opener, Finale in Same Day

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica softball team won both its home opener and its home finale on Wednesday afternoon, and it did so at a makeshift field on the turfed surface on campus usually reserved for football and soccer.

• Bulldogs' Banford is NSIC Coach of the Year

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) head softball coach Jen Banford has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) coach of the year, it was announced on Wednesday.

• Duluth's Kerr Leads UMD All-NSIC Selections

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Tyra Kerr was one of three University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) players selected to the all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) first team, with that being announced on Wednesday afternoon.
