Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica senior Kyle Flagstad and sophomore Mickie Keuning have each given Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) weekly honors, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Flagstad is the UMAC player of the week after hitting 14-for-29 in the Saints' eight games, driving in 13 runs and scoring 14 times over that span.
Of his 14 hits, Flagstad has six doubles, two triples, and two home runs for the Saints, helping the team go (6-0) in league play last week to capture its 17th consecutive UMAC regular season title.
Keuning, a native of Duluth, Minn., was named the UMAC pitcher of the week after going (2-0) in his starts for the team over those seven days.
He allowed just four hits and struck out three batters across five innings of work to beat Northland, and then he went a career-best 7.2 innings and struck out a career-high 11 hitters in a win against Bethany Lutheran.
