Fisher, Saints Skate Past Visting Blugolds

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Michelle Fisher scored two goals and the St. Scholastica women's hockey team earned a 6-3 win on Friday night over UW-Eau Claire at Mars Lakeview Arena.

Iron River, Wis. native Paige Turner was the starting goaltender for UW-Eau Claire, allowing all six goals and making 35 saves in the contest.

Turner played her high school hockey for the Duluth Northern Stars, and she transferred to UW-Eau Claire after playing one season at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD).

St. Scholastica is now (10-7-3) overall and (7-6-2) within the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).
