Former CSS Coach Hofmann Gets USHL Job

Chicago, IL (NNCNOW.com) --- Former St. Scholastica men's hockey assistant coach Lenny Hofmann has been named the United States Hockey League (USHL) manager of player development, the league announced this week.

The United States Hockey League today announced Lenny Hofmann has been named Manager, USHL Player Development.

Hofmann will work to continue the league's scouting and outreach efforts involving youth hockey players, attempting to keep prospective players and their families informed about the path from smaller leagues to the USHL.

A native of Minnesota and having played his college hockey at St. Mary's, Hofmann was an assistant coach with the Saints from 2008-10 and helped the team to a conference record of (20-7-5) in that time.
