Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former Duluth Denfeld guard Andrew Laughlin will attend St. Scholastica to play basketball in the 2012-13 season, Saints' head coach David Staniger announced on Monday.

Laughlin scored more than 1,000 points during his time with the Hunters and was a two-time all-conference selection.

He served two seasons as a captain for Duluth Denfeld, averaging 17.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game as a senior.

"I chose St. Scholastica because it is a great fit for me academically and athletically," Laughlin said. "I'm excited for the next four years and look forward to being part of the St. Scholastica baseball family."
