St. Scholastica Storms Past Crown College

St. Bonifacius, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Quarterback Tyler Harper led the Saints with two touchdowns, and the defense forced three turnovers as St. Scholastica held on 24-14 to beat Crown College on Saturday afternoon at KleinBank Stadium.

Harper finished the day 10-of-18 for 154 yards and a score and rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown. Jake Jensen led all rushers with 119 yards, just 11 yards short of becoming the program's all-time leading rusher.

Cory Gebard was the top Saints receiver with 3 catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. Spencer Specht caught four passes for 41 yards.

Paul Olson led the Saints defensively with 12 tackles and a half sack while Tyler Zurn added 11 tacked and forced a fumble.

The Saints (2-1, 2-0 UMAC) return home next Saturday, Sept. 28 to host Westminster College for homecoming at Malosky Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
