Saints' Church Matches Record, Gets UMAC Honor

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- St. Scholastica senior punter Jake Church has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) player of the week, it was announced on Tuesday.

Church had six punts in his team's 21-7 win over Martin Lither, averaging 36.0 yards per kick. Five of those were downed inside the 20-yard line, matching a St. Scholastica program record.

The senior punter also had two touchbacks on kickoffs in the winning effort for the Saints, helping the team improve to (3-1) this season.
