Saints Erase 14-Point Deficit, Beat Northwestern

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica football team erased a 14-point deficit against the University of Northwestern and went on to score 25 unanswered point to beat the Eagles 25-14 on Saturday afternoon in UMAC play in St. Paul, Minn.

The Saints were held scoreless through the first quarter but scored in the second quarter thanks to a 70 yard pass from Tyler Harper to Cory Gebhard. The two would hook up for another score in the third quarter.

Harper finished with three touchdowns in all and 254 yards on 20 of 32 passing with two interceptions. Gebhard racked up 7 catches for 145 yards and two TD's.

Jake Jensen led the Saints on the ground with 32 carries for 81 yards.

St. Scholastica returns home next Saturday to take on Martin Luther at Public Schools Stadium at 1 p.m.
