Saints' Flagstad, Moody Earn All-American Honors

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- St. Scholastica junior outfielder Kyle Flagstad and senior catcher Kyle Moody have been given All-American honorable mention by d3baseball.com, it was announced on Tuesday.

Flagstad was also named Tuesday as the 2012 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) player of the year on Tuesday, that after leading the Saints in several offensive categories this year.

He finished with team highs this year in batting average (.424), slugging percentage (.698), runs scored (38), triples (8), total bases (96), and stolen bases (12).

Moody, meanwhile, hit .380 this season and finished with team highs in runs batted in (57) and doubles (17), that after being named the 2011 UMAC player of the year as a junior.
