Saints' Frase, Hovick Lead All-UMAC Picks

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica senior forward Erin Frase and junior guard Marian Hovick have each been named the all-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) first team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Frase earns the honor for a second straight season after she led the team with 10.9 points per game this season and finished third in the conference with a .468 field goal percentage.

The honor is a career first for Hovick, who averaged 10.3 points per game and finished third in the UMAC with 83 assists this season. She was also named on Tuesday to the UMAC's all-defensive team.

In addition to those two honors, St. Scholastica head coach Stacy Deadrick was named the UMAC coach of the year and sophomore Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow was named to the all-UMAC second team.
