Saints Hang on to Beat Eureka in Road Test

Eureka, IL (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica football team jumped out to a 24-point lead and held on to beat Eureka College 38-25 in a Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.

Tyler Harper led the Saints through the air completing 16-of-28 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 28 yards. Jake Jensen finished with 128 rushing yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns and added 72 yards receiving and a score.

The Saints finished the game with 439 yards of total offense compared to 385 for the Red Devils. Keaton Rush led CSS defensively for 1.5 sacks and 12 tackles. Alec French finished with 15 tackles.

St. Scholastica will play its final home game of the season next Saturday against the University of Minnesota-Morris for senior day. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
