Saints' Jenkins, Cullen Named UMAC POY

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica's Andrew Jenkins has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year while fellow junior Ben Cullen was named the UMAC Defensive Player of the Year.

It's the second straight season that Jenkins has been earned the award. He led the NCAA Division III last season with 59 points and did so again this year with 76 points. The Cardiff, Wales native scored a program record 33 goals, the fifth-most in a single season in DIII history.

Cullen played a keen role in the back line for the Saints while also recording seven assists. The Clough, Northern Ireland native led a defense that allowed only 10 goals all season.

The Saints had a league-high seven players land on the first team all-conference. Joining Jenkins and Cullen were Joe Watt, Caleb Yurek, Adam Hewitt, Ryan Cullen, and Tom Corcoran.
