Saints Learn Draw for NCAA Tournament

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica softball team is headed to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the NCAA Division III tournament and will play a first-round game on Friday, it was announced by the NCAA on Monday morning.

The Saints earned a berth into the national tournament by winning the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship on Sunday afternoon, with this marking the team's fourth overall trip to the NCAAs.

St. Scholastica was placed in a double-elimination regional with Coe, Augustana, and St. Thomas, with the team's first game scheduled against Coe for a time yet to be determined on Friday.
