Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica men's and women's soccer teams had a chance to seek revenge from the team that ousted them both in the NCAA Tournament last year but failed to do so on Friday in the Advantage Emblem Cup.

The men's team had an early 1-0 lead thanks to a header from Tom Corcoran off a free kick from Joe Watt.

The No. 2 Loras showed outshot the Saints 14-1 though and added two goals in the second half for the come-behind-win, 2-1, spoiling the Saints season opener.

The Saints will take on Concordia College on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Saints Field.

The women 's team fell in similar fashion, being outshot by the No. 11 Loras 18-5 before giving up the game-winning goal in the second half, 1-0.

The Saints will take on Augsburg College on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Saints Field.
