Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- For the first time in postseason play, the St. Scholastica softball team will face off against No. 11 Coe College on Friday afternoon in the NCAA Division III Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Saints, who are 1-2 against the Kohawks, are ranked fourth in the nation in scoring and second in DIII in doubles per game.

Sophomore pitcher Micah McGuiness knows her team will have to rely on their bats to get a win on Friday.

"One girl has broken most doubles in a season, and we broke most home runs in a season," McGuiness said. "I think our bats definitely keep us in the game for the most part."
