Saints Softball Picked to Win UMAC Crown

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica softball team has been picked to finish first in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) preseason coaches' poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon.

The Saints finished last season (24-14) and won its fifth straight UMAC regular season title and has won 14 of the last 15 regular season titles.

CSS also boasts last season's UMAC Rookie of the Year in Rendi Johnson as one of three pitchers on the staff.
