Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica women's soccer team has qualified for a sixth NCAA Division III tournament in seven years, and the Saints found out Monday this year's tournament will begin with a date against UW-Whitewater.

The Saints earned an automatic qualifier into the NCAAs this past weekend with a 2-0 win over Minnesota-Morris in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship game.

St. Scholastica is (18-2-1) entering the national tournament while UW-Whitewater sits undefeated at (16-0-4), with those 16 wins matching a Warhawks program record.

The Saints will be making their sixth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last seven years. The Saints captured the UMAC automatic qualifier by defeating the University of Minnesota Morris 2-0 in the UMAC Tournament championship on Saturday.

The first-round game will be played on the UW-Whitewater campus on Nov. 16, with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m.
