Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica senior Anna Zyvoloski has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) volleyball player of the year, it was announced on Thursday.
This marks the second straight season Zyvoloski has earned player of the year honors, and she was also named to the all-UMAC first team for a third consecutive year.
The outside hitter led the UMAC this season with 454 kills, and she ranked second in the conference with a .299 hitting percentage.
In just three seasons with St. Scholastica, Zyvoloski compiled 1,445 kills to rank fourth all-time in the program. She will also leave with the most kills and points per set in program history.
Three other Saints players earned all-UMAC honorable mention honors this season, including Duluth, Minn. native Taylor Tyllia. Kortney Morrin and Erika Birkeland are the other two to earn honorable mention status for St. Scholastica.
Virginia, Minn. native Brittany Oakman was the team's representative this season on the UMAC all-sportsmanship team.
