Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica sophomore Andrew Jenkins has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) men's soccer player of the year, it was announced on Wednesday.

Jenkins set a new program record this season with 25 goals, breaking the old record of 22 set by Chris DeMorett in 1993. His 59 points were also a new program high and currently puts him first in all of Division III.

The sohomore was one of six Saints players to earn all-UMAC first team honors, a group that included Duluth, Minn. native Rob Johnson. The other four to earn first team status were Erik Trochimchuk, Joe Watt, Caleb Yurek, and Ben Cullen.

Goalkeeper Adam Hewitt was named to the all-UMAC second team, while Duluth, Minn. native Erik Graham was the team's representative on the all-sportsmanship team.
