Sorenson, Saints Edge the Eagles in Overtime

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica women's basketball team used a 23-point effort from sophomore Kelsey Sorenson en route to beating Northwestern 87-86 in overtime on Friday night at the Reif Gymnasium.

Mariah Hovick added 16 points for the Saints while Erin Frase racked up 12 points. The Saints and Eagles were in a four-way tie for first in the UMAC before the game.

St. Scholastica improves to (10-7) and will host North Central on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
